A four-year letter winner at Des Moines East High School, April earned all-conference and all-state honors as a senior on their way too three state championship games with one state title.
Played Des Moines Area Community College, where she earned first-team National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-American, third-team NJCAA All-American, first-team all-conference and all-Midwest Region honors.
Moved on to pitch at Division 1 during Utah State University's 2016 and 2017 to winning seasons and qualified for the NISC post season tournament.
Currently coaches at Des Moines East High-school and Des Moines Area Community College.

At DMACC, Tracy tallied a career batting average of .411 with 25 homeruns, and 75 RBIs. Following two seasons with DMACC, Tracy transferred to Southern Arkansas University and continued his college baseball career with two offensively-charged seasons for the Muleriders.
In his first year, Tracy earned All-Gulf South Conference and Rawlings/ABCA All-Region Second-Team honors with a .444 batting average. As a senior Tracy was selected for NCAA All-America First-Team selection as he was lauded by Rawlings/ABCA at the Designated Hitter position. Currently, Geffre continues to rank near the top of the all-time list at SAU in batting average, slugging percentage, and homeruns.
After his college career Geffre signed a professional baseball contract, playing one season with The Springfield/Ozark Mountain Ducks before permanently settling in Central Iowa. Recently Geffre was inducted into the Mandan Post 40 Hall of Fame and the Southern Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame.
