We hope you’ve been enjoying the HS Girls soccer league at SportsIowa. As we did in the Fall, we’re opening a few times in our calendar where we invite you to come in and play some pickup soccer. Organized by nationally licensed Ankeny Hawks coach, Dan Bertsch, this is an opportunity come in and play with other players from around area in a jamboree style atmosphere.
The open turf is limited to 30 participants and we’ll run short games of 7v7 for two hours while swapping players on teams to keep everyone involved and playing with new faces. We have 3 dates for pick-up games a
- Saturday, February 4th from 10am to noon
- Saturday, February 18th from 9am to 11am
- Sunday, February 26th from 11am to 1pm
We would love for you to attend, get some touches on the ball, and keep competing for that elusive state championship that you all work so hard for.
Participation numbers will be capped at 30 players in each session. Cost is $10.00 per player per session or $25 for all 3. All HS Girls Soccer players are welcome, but everyone needs a current SportsIowa Activity Fee. Note: anyone playing in this winter’s Girl’s HS Leagues already has an Activity Fee
Also, anyone playing in the HS Girls League, regardless of grade is welcome to join.
